24 Preludes and Improvisations by ‘Pianohooligan’ Piotr Orzechowski open Nostalgia Poznań Festival 2018. It is the first performance of all the works on the latest album from the composer, improviser and pianist. Pianohooligan will perform on 23 November at 7 p.m. at the Jesuit Fathers’ Church in Poznań.
The concert is divided into two parts. Between these, we would like to invite you to the inauguration of the Nostalgia Festival with Giya Kancheli and Piotr Orzechowski.
In its form, the album 24 Preludes and Improvisations is a reference to Johann Sebastian Bach’ 24 preludes and fugues. It is also inspired by free jazz, popular music and folklore.
